Abstract
the asymmetry of the Lorenz curve has proven useful to illustrate the trend in polarization of the earnings distribution and to the empirical assessment of the Kuzntes curve. The scope of the present work is to review the indices which have been proposed to quantity the asymmetry of the Lorenz curve and evaluate their performances with grouped data.
